Our Mission

Northwest Christian Academy exists for the purpose of assisting the local church in fulfilling Christ’s command: “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This institution is built upon the framework of Reformed theology and seeks to provide a biblical worldview to equip students to advance the kingdom of God.

    It was a bittersweet night for our seniors on the Varsity girls’ basketball team, for it was their last night playing on the Eagle’s nest. On January 20, our Lady Eagles played Doctors Charter and the crowd said goodbye to our two seniors Monique Harvey (captain) and Yokemmiya Doyle (co-Captain).

    On Friday, January 13, our Varsity boys played an exciting game of basketball, beating Sheridan Hills. The boys fought hard scoring points, playing great defensively, reaching for steals, and rebounding the ball from the opponent, especially the team's forward Brandon Cox, who finished the game with 18 rebounds.

    There has been a winning streak going on with the basketball teams at NCA, and the teams have been keeping all the fans on their feet. On December 1, 2011 the three teams played Choice Learning center and went 3-0.

    Don’t sleep on the Northwest Christian Eagles football team! Palmer Trinity did just that, and they were beaten on their Homecoming Night. Our boys went up there with vengeance since Palmer Trinity beat us on our first football game of the season. The boys and the coaches went out there with a positive energy; they were ready to bring a “W” back home to the Eagles’ Nest.

    Let’s Go Eagles!!! The first football game in two years was on Friday, and it was so wonderful. It was so beautiful to see all the fans we had out there, and it showed how important sports are to our school in achieving school spirit. This football game represented the rebuilding of the sports programs at NCA.

    The battle is over, and the girls walked away with another victory. Last Friday, September 9, the NCA girls volleyball team won against Center of Life in the final set 26-24. With a little sweat and determination, the girls persevered until the end of the game. They all did their best, and they always showed the Eagles' spirit.

    On September 8, 2011, at the NCA gym, our Girls Volleyball team played Brito Miami Private. The Lady Eagles played aggressively and were determined to win their season opener to Brito. They grabbed the win with excellent defense.

    We are thankful that you have chosen Christian Education. Not just Northwest Christian Academy, but Christian Education. With all of the opportunities available for your child, you have made a declaration to honor the command of Christ to train your child and admonish them in the Lord and we commend you. Many of us agree that the challenges facing Christian Education in general are huge. With the destabilizing of national, state, and local economies, uncertainty has come to reign over our places of employment and in our communities.
